Three Turkish citizens accused of spying for foreign country was sent to court on Friday in Izmir.
Three Turkish citizens accused of spying for foreign country was sent to court on Friday in Izmir.

Izmir police started an investigations after claims of spying. During the operations in Izmir, Bodrum and Aydin, three people detained on charges of spying.

The suspects were accused of giving information and images about some military units, tools and exercises to a foreign country, which is for Greece, according to the official sources.

Police Chief of Izmir City Arjument Yilmaz did not give additional information on this issue.

It is claimed that the suspects received 500 to 1000 euros for the each information provided.

During the search in the suspect's homes and workplaces, 4 radios, 3 binoculars, cameras and multiple mobile phones found.
