American TV channel apologizes to Turkey

The U.S.-based NBC apologized for showing the eastern part of Turkey as “Kurdistan” in its report.
“While reporting about three American alpinists who entered the Iranian territory, NBC News showed the region in its map as “Kudristan”. There is a political region known as Kurdistan in Iraq, but the map also included parts of Turkey and Syria. We apologize for that mistake," Today’s Show program said in its message.
