Lebanese PM expected to sign deals during Turkey visit

A number of agreements are expected to be signed on visa exemption, health, military cooperation and agriculture.
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri is scheduled to pay a formal visit to Turkey on January 10-12 at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish premier's office said Friday.

A group of nine Lebanese cabinet ministers as well as businesspeople are set to accompany Hariri during his stay in Turkey.

A number of agreements are expected to be signed on visa exemption, health, military cooperation and agriculture.

Turkish and Lebanese development agencies are expected to pen a protocol over providing drinking water in Kwashra, Aidamoon and al Birah where large Turkmen communities live.

Hariri will meet Turkish industrialists and businesspeople in Istanbul.
