Georgian parliament speaker has hailed the activity of the CEC chairperson in the process of preparation for upcoming elections and proposed setting up an inter-faction group, which will be in charge of supervising the pre-election process.
Bakradze voiced his proposal at the session of the bureau today. He said the successful work of special groups, which are monitoring voter lists, should minimize the traditionally painful problem of inaccurate lists of voters.
Speaker said the government had allocated sufficient funds for political parties to make the process of preparation for 2010 elections perfect.
The consultations about the speaker's proposal will be held in parliament next week.
