Richard Holbrooke, U.S. special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, will visit Georgia on Feb. 21-22, the U.S. embassy in Georgia said.

During his visit Holbrook will meet with President Saakashvili, be acquainted with the living conditions of Georgian soldiers in the National Military Training center in Krtsanisi and the course of their training for international operation in Afghanistan.
Previously Nino Kalandadze, deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, mentioned the importance of that visit for the country, since it once again highlights significance of Georgia's participation in ISAF operation in Afghanistan.
