The leader of the Protect Georgia, Levan Gachechiladze, is waiting for his colleagues to determine his role and place in the united opposition.
Gachechiladze says it is up to other leaders of the opposition parties to determine the ways of selecting a joint candidate for Tbilisi mayor's elections, one of which it may be him.
While Gachechiladze is waiting for determination of his place among the opposition leaders, they are waiting for the proposals of other colleagues regarding the mechanisms of selecting a joint candidate for the upcoming self-government elections.
They have already agreed with the Alliance for Georgia to say no to the primary elections and instead, conduct social survey for revealing the most popular candidate of Tbilisi mayor.
The deadline for final agreement is March 7. On this day, the initiators of the primary will decide whether to conduct or not the primary vote.
Alliance for Georgia, the decision of which is likely to be decisive for the rest of the opposition, has refused to take part in the primary.
