British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would visit London in March.
A reception took place on occasion of the 3rd anniversary of establishment of "Labor Friends of Turkey" lobby group at Portcullis House in British capital of London.
Besides Brown, Foreign Secretary David Miliband, Turkish ambassador in London Yigit Alpogan and other officials attended the reception.
Delivering a speech in the reception, Brown said they supported Turkey's EU accession process.
Brown said Prime Minister Erdogan would visit Britain this month and his visit would boost current ties between Turkey and Britain and also contribute to peace and stability.
In his part, Miliband said Turkey had been passing through a great transformation that would benefit Europe and Britain.
Turkey was a bridge between Europe and Muslim world, he said.
Turkey, an important energy center, should be a full member of the EU, Miliband said.
