Mine blast in Georgia leaves people dead

Director general of Gruzugol Company Merab Chrelashvili said that at the mine named Mindeli" supposedly methane leaked, which caused the explosion.

Four miners died on the spot and several miners were injured. One of them is in serious condition.

Governor of Imereti region, Lasha Makatsaria who is familiar with the situation has visited the explosion area.

According to him, investigation into the incident will begin soon, and all the perpetrators will be revealed.
