Japanese car maker Suzuki's distributor company in Turkey said Friday that Swift models sold in the country were not subjected to a recall campaign underway in Europe.
The distributor company said more than six thousand Swift models manufactured in Suzuki's plants in Hungary in 2007 and 2008 are being recalled for fuel hose problems.
The company said Swifts sold in the country in 2007 and 2008 were manufactured in Japan, adding that no fuel hose complaints had been filed so far in Turkey.
