Turkish deputy PM in Jordan to sign deal on TV-coop

Turkish State Minister and Deputy PM Arinc has arrived in Jordanian capital city of Amman in a Turkish Airlines passenger jet.
Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc has arrived in Jordanian capital city of Amman in a Turkish Airlines (THY) passenger jet on Friday.

Arinc and his delegation were greeted at Amman's Queen Alia Airport by the Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communication Nabil al-Sharif and the Turkish Ambassador in Amman Ali Koprulu.

Speaking to reporters prior to his departure, Minister Arinc said that he would be accompanied by the Director General of Turkey's state-run television station, TRT, Ibrahim Sahin and a Justice and Development (AK) Party deputy from western province of Manisa Ismail Bilen.

"Turkey and Jordan share excellent relations between our governments as well as parliaments. We have no political problems. We are travelling to Jordan to sign an agreement between the TRT and Jordan's National Radio and Television Company," Arinc said.

Minister Arinc will meet with Turkish citizens living in Jordan. Arinc will return back to Turkey on Monday.
