On March 21, the Armenian Women’s handball team played its last game in the 2010 IHF/EHF (International Handball Federation/European Handball Federation) Women’s Challenge Trophy in Israel. Having lost two previous games, the Armenian team celebrated a victory at last, defeating Malta with a score of 21-12, reports Armsport.am.
Earlier, the Armenian team had a narrow defeat against Cyprus (27-28), and also losing against Israel (9-32). Having competed with three teams, the Armenian team could only beat Malta and came in third (with Israel in first and Cyprus in second) in the wining list.
