Armenian premier meets UN Coordinator

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan held a meeting on March 24 with UN Coordinator Dafina Gercheva on March 24.
The Premier pointed out Armenia’s appreciation of cooperation with the UN and that it attaches high importance to joint programs.

Among the priorities of cooperation are, according to the sides, ensuring harmonious regional development, enhancing management efficiency to reduce corruption risks, reforming the business environment by creating equal conditions for SMBs and simplifying tax and customs procedures.

The top priority task is expanding cooperation in scientific and IT fields, poverty reduction, public health and gender problems.

The Armenian Premier informed the UN Coordinator of the government’s anti-crisis program.

Gercheva pointed out a number of effective measures implemented in Armenia stating that the experience can be beneficial.
