Armavia airway company launched direct Yerevan-Tel Aviv-Yerevan flight on March 28.
Company's President Mikhail Baghdasarov said it will enable active communication between the countries and facilitate traveling to Israel.
He expressed hope that the mutually advantageous initiative will assist frequent visits to cultural and historic sights in both Armenia and Israel.
Commercial Director Edgar Karapetyan said that the flights will be operated twice a week – Thursdays and Sundays by ?-320 and ?-319 airbuses.
Round trip airfare is around ?350 with 2-hour time en route, that dramatically reduces the duration of previous ones for Armenian citizens taking Tbilisi flights.
