Geopolitic situation in South Caucasus discussed in Berlin

German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) and Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijan President have co-organizedan event entitled “New Geopolitics and Economic Cooperation in the South Caucasus: View from Azerbaijan.”

Opening the event, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov briefed the participants on the political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries. The event was addressed by Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Elkhan Nuriyev and Azerbaijani MP Asim Mollazade.

They spoke of the geopolitical situation in the South Caucasus region, foreign policy of Azerbaijan and settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as cooperation between Azerbaijan and Europe, particularly EU.
