Russia and Armenia support rapid resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict exclusively through peaceful means in a fair, acceptable to all sides basis. It is noted in the joint Russian-Armenian statement on the results of Dmitry Medvedev's state visit, ITAR-TASS reports.
The document stresses that the sides welcome the OSCE Minsk Group's constructive work in this direction. "During the talks the importance of non-use of force or threat of force, territorial integrity of states, equality and rights of peoples to self-determination was stressed," the document says.
The Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's contribution to the search for political and diplomatic ways of resolution of this problem was highly appreciated in the document.
