Turkish Red Crescent is distributing fast-breaking meals, food, health and water packages in flood-hit Pakistan.
Materials which were brought by aid convoy comprised of seven wagons and 62 trucks will be distributed to people by Red Crescent. Floods, caused by Monsoon rains, have killed thousands of people and left millions homeless in Pakistan since late July. Meanwhile, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's spouse Emine Erdogan is currently in Pakistan.
Emine Erdogan and accompanying delegation will visit Nowshera region which was mostly affected by the flood, and she will meet with flood victims in the houses built by Turkish Red Crescent. Turkish state ministers Egemen Bagis and Selma Aliye Kavaf are accompanying Erdogan.
