Group intending to blast mosque passivated in Azerbaijan

A group, which members had attempted to explode a mosque was neutralized in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security told on Nov.23.

According to the statement, as a result of operatively-search actions conducted by the Ministry of National Security, Azerbaijani citizens Mirzoyev Nariman Khosrov oglu and Rustamov Mirzahmad Shakir oglu were detained as suspects in the preparation of the terrorist act aimed to kill people in Azerbaijan, and for illegal purchase of large quantities of weapons, ammunition and explosives.
