Freight train derails in Azerbaijan - UPDATE - PHOTOS

Fifteen freight cars derailed in Azerbaijan, according to Azerbaijan Railways.

Six cars carrying grain overturned spilling their cargo, the railways said.

The freight cars derailed today at 12:45 (local time) at the Mugan-Karasu stretch when the train was moving along the Hajigabul-Ganja route.

The movement of trains in both directions has been stopped.

Currently, a special train, as well as, machinery and railroad employees are working at the accident scene.

An investigation was initiated into the incident.
