Azerbaijan`s Gakh, Italy`s Bormio sister cities now

Azerbaijan`s Gakh and Italy`s Bormio have signed a sister relationship agreement.
The agreement was inked by head of Gakh Executive Authorities Musa Shakiliyev and Mayor of Bormio Giuseppe Occhi.

The agreement will see the two cities develop relations in cultural, humanitarian, scientific, art, educational, economic and social fields, and also carry out experience exchange.

The event held in Italy was attended by Azerbaijan`s Ambassador Vagif Sadigov, head of Gakh Executive Authorities Musa Shakiliyev, Member of the Parliament, head of the working group for Azerbaijan-Italy interparliamentary ties Azer Karimli, Mayor of Bormio Giuseppe Occhi, officials of the Lombardy region, and public figures.

Prior to the signing ceremony, the sides discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, and stressed the importance of the agreement.
