Ramil Usubov: "Police officers killed in Nardaran performed their official duties

He noted the police officers killed on 25 January in Nardaran performed their official duties, Trend reports. However, the oppoisitional media disseminates wrong reports in this regard, the murdered policemen are libeled in the press. "They were, allegedly, drunk, arrived in the settlement voluntarily and etc. It is not true. The police workers came to Nardaran duty-bound and were assaulted. Some criminals in Nardaran do not want the police to attend the settlement. They keep the local popultaion in awe and want to turn this settlement into the place uncontrollable by the police," Usubov stated.

He also noted the Prosecution General opened a criminal case and the investigation is underway. "All those who committed crime will be disclosed and be accountable to law," the Minister stressed.
