Marshall Center to organize meeting of parliamentarians of South Caucasus and Baltic states in Tbilisi

Over 50 parliamentarians will take part in the forum, Trend reports citing the Marshall Centre.

The Marshall European Centre for security studies and the Georgian Parliament organized the conference to enable the conference participants to share their experience in the defense sector restructuring and transition to the stable democracy. Among the conference participants are Speakers and members of parliaments from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia and Lithuania. After speeches the questions and answers session and group discussions will be held. All sittings will be in English and Russian.

The conference is a continuation of the 2005 February conference, staged by the Marshall Centre in Vilnius, Lithuania. The conference topic was: "Strategic approaches to cooperation and reforms in the Baltic region and in South Caucasus", Prime-News reports.
