An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 occurred in the Caspian Sea, off the coast of Azerbaijan (140-150 km from Baku), Azernews reports, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
According to the information, the earthquake epicenter was located 80 kilometers northeast of the Khachmaz region, the earthquake source was at a depth of 35 kilometers.
It should be noted that tremors were felt in some parts of the country, including in the city of Baku.
