Tuberculosis laboratory to be built in Azerbaijan

It will enable to identify the tuberculosis in people, APA reports. According to Ogtay Gozalov coordinator of Regional Fight Program against Tuberculosis in Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus of GOPA consultative organization of Germany, at present there are five such laboratories meeting modern demands over the world.

The laboratory to be built in Azerbaijan next to the Institute of Lung Diseases will cover area of 300 sq.m is the sixth one. Approximately it will cost 500 thousand Euro.

The construction of the laboratory will be completed within six months term and financed by the Government of Germany. In case of necessity Azerbaijani government will help it.
