According to the results of census carried out in Moscow, the number of Azerbaijanis increased by 4.6 times, Armenians 2.4 times and Georgians 2.5 times in last 13 years. Azerbaijanis chiefly settled in the central territories of Moscow.
According to the official figures, 124,000 Armenians, 93,000 Azerbaijanis and 54,000 Georgians live in Moscow.
The result of census was welcomed in Russia ambiguously. Experts say that these figures do not reflect the reality and number of Azerbaijanis, Armenians and Georgian is more than the official results, APA informs.
