President gets familiar with construction of module power station in Shaki District

The construction of the station started in November 2005 and will be complete in August 2006. The general contractor of the project on the construction of a power station with the capacity of the 87MW is the Finnish company Wartsila.

The Azerbaijani President stated that the commissioning of the station will enable to supply energy to northwest region of the country and easy the life of local population.

President also got familiar with the work of the Shaki Brick Plant.
