PACE rapporteur visits Baku today

As APA reports, the visit will be realized within Vera Oskina's tour to South Caucasus, the Russian deputy has paid an official visit to Armenia and Russia before that. The objective of her visit to the region is to study the role of women in political and social life, condition of reproductive health among the women and condition of women in detention places.

Vera Oskina will meet with Council of Europe expert Mominat Omarova, State Committee for Family, Women and Child Problems Hijran Huseynova, deputy Justice Ministry Nazim Alakbarov, deputy Interior Minister Vilayet Eyvazov, Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova, parliamentarians - Rabiyyat Aslanova, Hadi Rajabov, Malahet Hasanova, Gultekin Hajiyeva, Azay Guliyev, PACE delegation of Milly Majlis (parliament), visit the detention places of women. Vera Oskina’s visit to Baku will be completed April 21.
