Ministry of Education to realize State Program for talented children

As APA reports, the working Group within two months will prepare suggestions of granting gold, silver medals for special talented students, renew of programs, giving special privileges to them and etc.

Though the privileges have not been identified yet, but they are supposed to be referred to education, culture, art fields. One of the privileges is expected to be admission of special talented International Olympiad winners to higher schools without passing an entrance test exam.

The Ministry will prepare these measures and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers (CM). In case if CM approve, these privileges will be valid. State Committee for Student Admission Maleyka Abbaszade said if the suggestion with regard to Olympiad winners' admission to higher schools is approved, then they will raise a matter of considering international Olympiad winners: "It should be identified which Olympiads will be considered International? Because many Olympiads are held among Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan. I hope we shall hold more international Olympiads."
