Trend reports that she met with employees of law-enforcement agencies, judges, municipalities of 23 surrounding towns and Ganja Police Department.
The topic of the meeting was relationships between the police and citizens and role of law-enforcement agencies in human rights protection. Ombudsman said there are still reported events of tortures in work of police in regions. In this respect the ombudsman's administration already received dozens complaints, and 30% of them already examined. She also said some of the complaints received concern the judges' work.
Mrs Suleymanova also met with three members on election commissions of Ganja supervising the reelections on May 13. On this meeting she informed them of the last year’s election violations and asked to prevent such on May 13.
