Discussions on managing oil revenues held at US-Azerbaijan Education Center

As AzerTAg reports, the lecture was primarily intended for the US-educated students from Azerbaijan.

Professor Michael Ross pointed to the difficulties Azerbaijan can face when oil revenues will flow to Azerbaijan. According to him, establishment of the State Oil Fund, Azerbaijan's joining the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, “Long Term Strategy on Management of the Oil and Gas Revenues" initiated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will help Azerbaijan avoid such risks as high inflation rate, manat appreciation, Dutch disease and others.
