President Aliyev appeals to BTC international action participants

President's press service told APA that in his appeal Mr. Aliyev expressed his confidence that this goodwill action organized by Azerbaijan, Turkish and Georgian women will contribute to further strengthening of friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between the nations.

"Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline will have an important influence on deepening of relations between our countries, will contribute to strengthening of security in the region and will bring our nations much closer will pay way to improvement of their social welfare and perfect defense.

This oil pipeline is also of importance to regional stability, development and integration to Euroatlantic structures. I am confident that BTC will contribute to economic growth and progress our countries and convert our region into one of the world's prospering, stable and peace region. I have no doubt that your action will be supported by the public.

This international peaceful action proves once more that women show decisiveness, persistence and courage to complete their mission for peace and stability/"
