2.482.827 sq. m area cleared from mines and UXO in July

Azerbaijani 2 482 827 sq. meters of area has been cleared from mines and UXO in July this year.

The National Agency of Mine Action (ANAMA) informs, 32 183 556 sq. meters of area have been cleared from mines and unexploded ordnances so far.26 808 mines and UOX have been disarmed. 261 500 sq. meters of area were cleared by mechanical way.

As APA reports, 78 mine explosions have left 48 persons dead and 109 wounded since September 2001.
