Azerbaijanis sentenced to 14 years in jail for drug traffic

According to APA, the gang composed of three Azerbaijanis and a Russian are facing the charges of growing narcotic plants and selling them in Ural region.

Two members of the gang were detained last year while smuggling 6.5 kg of hashish and 100 gr. of heroine in Kazakhstan border. After the arrest of the two gang members, the rest members managed to smuggle the remained narcotic drugs to Russia but they could not sell them in the market.

Law enforcement bodies arrested Azerbaijanis when they were attempting to sell 4.5 kg of hashish. The investigation found out that our compatriots were previously sentenced for illicit drug traffic.
