President Aliyev decrees to renovate and preserve monuments in Baku

The President's press service told the APA the executive order aims at "preservation of these monuments as cultural-national wealth, to strengthen the role of it in education of young generation in the spirit of patriotism and provide its propaganda among the foreign guests at due level".

Baku Mayor's Office, Culture and Tourism Ministry, State Town-planning and Architecture Committee, Azerbaijan National Academy of Science Architecture and Art Institute, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction Institute are to prepare proposals on renovation and preserve of historical-architectural monuments and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers within a month.

The Cabinet and relevant state bodies are assigned to take measures for implementation of the executive order.
