One more echelon withdrawn from Georgia to be delivered to Russia through Azerbaijan

One more echelon loaded with weapons, military supplies and equipment withdrawn from Russian 62nd military base in Akhalkalak, Georgia, has been sent to Russia.

The 18th echelon to pass through Azerbaijan consists of 12 wagons.

As APA reports, quoting the Defense Ministry, the next echelon will be sent on 19 September.

The Azerbaijan State Railway Company (ASR) told that echelon will be taken from Georgian military men at the Azerbaijani Boyuk Kasik station at 1800 today and will be delivered to Russian servicemen at Yalama station at 1300 tomorrow.

The security of the echelon is ensured by the military base's servicemen, ASR's militarized group and Azerbaijani Interior Troops special forces.
