Ganja's 2500th jubilee celebrated solemnly

Ganja Mayor Eldar Azimov, parliamentarians Aydin Abbasov, Vidadi Mammadov, Asaf Hajiyev, Musa Guliyev alongside with the representatives of different city offices institutions and schools also took part in the festivity, APA informs.

After laying a wreath on Heydar Aliyev monument the city mayor and other officials visited Nizami Ganjavi mausoleum where Ganja Dramatic Theatre actors showed performances on the poet's works.

Then they visited Jomerd Gassab's and Javad Khan's tombs.

On the second half of the day, there will be a concert program in front of Heydar Aliyev monument. The festivity will continue tomorrow. There will be a concert program organized by Azerbaijan State Television. Niyameddin Musayev, Faig Aghayev, Sevda Alekberzadeh, Roya, Metanet Iskenderli and other popular artists are invited to the festivity.
