Reasons of fowl death to be announced tomorrow

State Veterinary Station will announce the death reasons of 17 fowls in the village Tazakand in Jalilabad.

The samples have already been taken from the dead birds. "The clinical signs of their death and primary pathological analysis show that the birds died of kokk group infections and colibacilosis disease. This kind of losses has nothing in common with bird flu and Newcastle disease. Despite this the samples are being analyzed in the Veterinary Laboratory," State Veterinary Station Press service told the APA.

Javanshir Hasanov Jalilabad Veterinary station chief said that the death of fowls in this time of the year is expected. "There are certain conditions and rules for keeping birds, but in the majority of cases they are not observed. We are working in intensified regime. An operative staff is established in the Executive. The most skillful specialists are involved in the staff. The sale of birds in the markets and illegal hunting is banned. The veterinary stations are supplied with disinfection equipment. The people are enlightened on the keeping of birds in closed conditions," he said.
