European Court sends survey to Azerbaijani government

European Court of Human Rights has sent a survey to Azerbaijani government on complaint of Azerbaijani Lawyers Forum.

The survey notes that 10 lawyers appealed to European Court of Human Rights in July, 2005 for the organization's not being registered.

They said that the founders appealed to Yasamal district court for the organization's not being registered in June, 2003.

Yasamal district court, then Court of Appeals and Supreme Court made a decision in favor of Justice Ministry.

European Court demanded an explanation on the reasons of the case.

The case will be considered in the European Court and decision will be made at the beginning of the next year.

The appeal addressed to the European Court was signed by lawyers Intigam Aliyev, Eyyub Kerimov, Vidadi Mirkamal, Annagi hajibeyli, Namized Safarov, Rashid Hajili, Alovsta Aliyev, Shahbaz Khuduoglu, Ferman Huseynov and Akif Alizadeh, ALF told the APA.
