Emergencies Ministry appeals to people to prevent fires during New Year celebrations

According to the information, Emergencies Ministry State Fire Control Service has regularly taken measures and is strengthening prophylactic steps.

"The places where the New Year parties will be held, are being examined and corresponding measures taken to remove shortcomings," Emergencies Ministry Department of Public Relations Press Service told the APA.

The ministry calls on the people to observe the rules of fire security. Emergencies Ministry advises to keep the little-ones under control.

"Several powerful electric nets are loaded during the parties and fire risk arises. The isolation of the electric cables of the rooms should be in order while New Year celebrations in houses. Using fireworks is also dangerous during the parties."

"There should be 2 exits in the schools and enterprises where the New Year tree is decorated and the word 'Exit' should be written on it. All the necessary measures should be taken in time to strengthen the prophylactic measures against fire during parties and to ensure the security of children in the New Year parties."
