Health Ministry suspends Khazar University Clinics

09 March 2007 [22:36] - TODAY.AZ
Health Ministry suspended Sahib LLC (Clinics of Khazar University) from March 5.

According to the Economic Development's letter and Health Ministry's order, the officers of the two ministries held inspections in Sahib LLC on February 22-26 and found some shortcomings.

The inspections showed that though there is a journal of operations' registration, the operations were not recorded there and the doctors gave short information about the operation in the case history.

557 operations were performed in 2006, 51 of them were non-profile oncological operations. Besides, physiotherapy room was divided into several parts and EKG apparatus was installed in one of them and physiotherapy equipment in the others. Ultrasound cabinet is not satisfactory.

Stomatological cabinet is not well equipped. Both cabinets and three laboratories need repairing. The Cabinet's decision # 177 dated November 7 2001 was ignored while choosing the personnel.

Sahib LLC functioning will not be permitted unless the shortcomings are removed, APA reports.
