Previously convicted Ideal newspaper's editor-in-chief faces new charge

Natig Jafarov, chief of the Binagadi district gas operation department filed a claim against Nazim Guliyev, previously convicted editor-in-chief of the Ideal newspaper, Day.Az reports with reference to the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety.
Thus, the court hearing on Nazim Guliyev's case will be held in the Nasimi district court chaired by judge Kamaladdin Badalov.

According to judge's secretary, the plaintiff considers that the articles, published in the said newspaper, are defamatory and abusing. He demands to find Nazim Guliyev guilty under articles 147 (libel) and 148 (abuse).
