Azerbaijan will take part in a two-day conference for combat with law offenses in Internet, which will start in Strasbourg tomorrow.
Day.Az reports with reference to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, the conference will present a report of online crimes for 2007, in particular, the countries-leaders in cyber crimes and figures of material damage of crimes in the Internet will be specified.
The main topic of the conference will be the development of methods of joint combat with crimes in the Internet.
Moreover, Bahtiyar Mamedov, chief of legal and human resources department of the Ministry, will take part in the 3rd consulting session of the Committee of the Convention for Cryber Crimes (T-CY) to be held in Strasbourg on April 3-4.
