Clash between Azerbaijani and Armenian citizens occurs in Pskov, Russia

A clash between the ethnic groups of Armenians and Azerbaijanis occurred in Velikiye Luki city (Pskov Russia) on March 30 and 31.
The clash took place on Smolensk market, as reported by Nikolay Shmotkin, chief of the state department of internal affairs, at a session in the city administration, today.

He said the situaiton has no serious grounds and the conflict arose because somebody has "crossed someone's road".

A traumatic Osa gun was used during the conflict, which caused physical damage to one of the men.

The militia representative said that all responsible people had been detained. Heads of ethnic groups of these Diasporas were invited to the head of department for a prophylactic work.

Control over the activity and trade of Azerbaijanis and Armenians will be strengthened in the city.
