Lawyer Aslan Ismayilov prepares appeal regarding works stolen from Azerbaijani museums

The appeal says that rich Azerbaijanis have bought several valuable works from the museums and located them in their houses.

“I appeal to these persons, businessmen to help to the restoration of our lost culture. If our rich men want to live in the memory of our nations as Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev did, they should return works to the museums”, he said.

The lawyer noted that this was tested several times in the international community and mentioned that he had made a proposal to Culture and Tourism Minister in this respect.

“If the Ministry writes the names of these persons on the works, the visitors will recognize the names of persons, who presented the works to the museums”, he said.
