The Court of Grave Crimes of Azerbaijan has completed a trial on the case of Sahib Teymurov, chairman of the public association "Assistance to Children's Homes".
The due information was provided by a source from the court.

The court passed a decision to initiate Teymurov's forced treatment under article 21.3 (the court may prescribe forced medical measures, envisioned by the present Code to a person, who committed a crime compos mentis but fell mentally ill before the court passed a sentence, thus being not aware of the factual nature and public threat of his actions or able to control them).

The source noted that the court recognized Teymurov as mentally ill and passed a decision to send him to mental hospital No 1.

Teymurov faced a charge under article 182 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

He blackmailed bar owners and took bribes from the head of the children's home in Lenkoran.

The court was presided by judge Azer Orujev.

It should be noted that Teymurov was the one, who informed the community about 17 year old Elnara Ahmedova, a prostitute that infected 200 people with AIDS.
