Georgian President's mother to visit Azerbaijan

She noted that visiting Georgia she held a meeting with Giuli Alasaniya, head of the house of Georgia-Azerbaijan friendship, President Mikhail Saakashvili's mother.

During the meeting Alasaniya said the relations between the countries are on the level of strategic partnership. She said she makes efforts for integration of Georgian Azerbaijanis with the Georgian society and will assist to opening of Georgian language courses for Azerbaijanis.

"I visited Azerbaijan in March and was satisfied with the attitude towards Georgians in this country", said Alasaniya.

In turn, Pashayeva said that by resolution of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, schools and other social establishments are under construction in places of compact residence of Georgians in Azerbaijan and their opening is expected in September.

According to Pashayeva, Alasaniya accepted the invitation to participate in the opening of establishments in the said villages.
