He said the happening had nothing to do with the mosque’s activity and underlined that there was no reason to close the mosque. He noted that the mosque would open soon.
Gamet Suleymanov said he did not know Astara resident Emin Rasulov, who had been detained over the mosque explosion, only one man had been detained over the case.
Suleymanov said his shrapnel injuries were not dangerous.
"There is no need to remove the shrapnels. Doctors said the shrapnels were not dangerous for me," he said.
