Penitentiary service of Azerbaijan files claim against Zerkalo newspaper

The due announcement was made by Myasnikova, personally, reports Day.Az with reference to the Institute for Reporter Freedom and Safety.

She said the cause of the claim was publication of articles "The death sentence", "The open zone of tuberculosis" and "The Qobustani burial".

"They demand from me to pay a fine of AZN 50,000 and from Zerkalo newspaper to refute the articles", said the journalist.

The next hearing is appointed to 11:00 am of September 8.
