Famous Turkish journalist Irfan Ulku, who arrived in Azerbaijan to observe presidential elections, died in Baku.

APA reports with reference to the Turkish press that Ulku, participating at an event of Marmara group in Baku on October 14, felt worse.
He died of cardiac insufficiency.
Close friend of the deceased, member of the Marmara group council Chingiz Gezdamlasi said that he will be buried in Turkey. Currently, Gezdamlasi is collecting due documentation.
Irfan Ulku was born in Istanbul in 1952. He was an editor-in-chief of the Yeni Gunaydin and Ortadoghu newspapers, worked at TGRT, Channel 6, Star Tv channels. He is an author of the books "From golden star to crescent: troublous life of Heydar Aliyev", "Baku on the roads of night", "Azerbaijan after independence" and many others.
The journalist was a member of the Writers Union of Azerbaijan and taught at the Baku Slavic University.
