Azerbaijani film claiming for Oscar

67 films added to the list of candidates in the category of "The best film in a foreign language" of the popular Oscar American cinema award.
Day.Az reports with reference to the website of the American Oscar academy, the films also include a movies from Azerbaijan - this is a film "Fortress" of Shamil Najafzade.

Five nominees will be selected from among 67 candidates. All nominations will be declared on January 22 of 2009 and the award granting ceremony will be held in Hollywood on February 22 of 2009.
