Imprisoned chief of department of Azerbaijan's Interior Ministry transferred back to Gobustan jail

Former chief of department under Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs Zakir Nasirov has been transferred from the temporary detention facility under the National Security Ministry to Gobustan jail, said Nasirov's defender Adil Ismailov.

He said on October 23 the Sabail district court of Baku passed a decision about Zakir Nasirov's transfer back to the Gobustan jail, as the term of his detention in the isolation facility of the National Security Ministry expired yesterday.

It should be noted that former chief of department Zakir Nasirov was sentenced to life imprisonment for brutal murders and kidnapping.
